Food & Fund Drives are important to our mission of distributing nutritious food to our hungry and food insecure neighbors across Alabama. We would love for you to host a food or fund drive as an individual, group, organization, or business!
Food Drives are an interactive and rewarding experience for your place of employment, church group, school, or organization to collect food to donate to the Montgomery Area Food Bank. Every donation counts, whether you are one person looking to help or want to involve others as a group!
Here are some tips, and how to get started:
- Complete the form linked below, “Host a Food & Fund Drive”
- Set a goal for your food drive (Example: total number of pounds) or make it a competition between departments or groups to encourage even more donations!
- Set a start date and end date for your food drive.
- MAFB can provide boxes or barrels to collect food donations, contact us and we will have those items ready for you to pick up at our location!
- Concluding your food drive, donations can be delivered to our site, 521 Trade Center Street Montgomery, AL 36108, Building 4, Receiving. Hours to drop off: Monday – Thursday (6-2:30 PM); Friday (6-11 AM). If your organization needs delivery assistance, please let MAFB know and we will coordinate pickup.

Host a Fund Drive to collect monetary donations that will be used to support our programs here at MAFB. If you would like to host a Fund Drive, we can create a custom donation page for you, and you can raise funds rather than physical food. This is a great way to involve different people from your business, church group, or family! Fund Drives are especially impactful because a $1 donation provides 5 meals. All funds raised help us acquire and distribute more food across Alabama!
